PRODUCT RANGE: NATURE OF CONSIGNMENTS
Image Two Couriers currently carries goods ranging from parcels of less than 1 kg to consignments in excess of 2 tons. This serves to indicate the true flexibility of the service offered to our clients. Our claim is that we give special recognition to the product specifications and the handling thereof.
DAILY OPERATIONS: ACCOUNT MANAGERS
Account managers will deliver to the client any overnight arrivals before 10:00 in the morning. The next responsibility is to commence with local distribution. Collection for airfreight distribution takes place from 15:00 or as per the agreed time.
The above arrangements are the recommended schedule to the account manager with the ultimate arrangements being his / her responsibility to tailor-make with the client. Additional capacity can be made available to support service delivery to the client. If justified, Image Two Couriers will place an in-house account manager on site with the client to oversee all courier related matters.
LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATION
All account managers are liaising with the logistics co-ordinator. The co-ordinator’s responsibility is to liaise with all the national branches in South Africa and all of the account managers as well as co-ordination of international consignments.
CUT OFF TIMES
Unlike our competitors, the account manager programme allows us to be flexible and daily arrangements will be made between the account manager and the client.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Account managers service their accounts with a light duty vehicle to ensure personal service, efficient service and economy for the benefit of our clients. Pool vehicles with secure loading space in high volume canopies, are available for use. Pool vehicles are fitted with tracking devices to ensure a high probability of recovery should this be necessary. The largest vehicle that Image Two Couriers currently has in its pool is an 8-ton truck with a tail-lift.
PROOF OF DELIVERY
We will provide our clients with verbal proof of delivery as well as hard copies of proof of delivery within 24 hours. Where required a daily report schedule confirming delivery will be dispatched to the clients via e-mail.
INSURANCE
Details are to be discussed with clients. Image Two Couriers provides comprehensive cover for cargo, through our insurance thereby proving our intention to share the risk with our clients.
